José Nicolás Cabrera-Schneider (he/him) teaches Spanish, Introduction to Anthropology, and First-Year Seminar. He holds degrees in Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Anthropology, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Latin American Studies. His latest research examines the relationship between China and Latin America and its impact on local communities. Nicolás is also the author of several novels, short story collections, and translations of poetry. In his free time, he enjoys riding his bicycle around town.
