Bard Early College New Orleans (BECNO) engages bright, intellectually curious students through a tuition-free, immersive liberal arts curriculum. By promoting authentic and supportive undergraduate opportunities, BECNO faculty and staff prepare students of all academic backgrounds for further college success. BECNO runs a full-day degree-granting program in partnership with KIPP New Orleans and the Louisiana Department of Education, we make it possible for students to earn both a high school diploma, up to 60 transferable college credits, and an Associate in Arts degree from Bard College.
Bard Early College New Orleans seeks students who are intellectually motivated, curious, and eager for a challenge. BECNO’s unique application process is designed to identify and select applicants based on these qualities, irrespective of a young person’s previous academic record.
