Applying

Bard Early College seeks 10th and 11th grade students who are intellectually motivated, curious, and eager for a challenge. The application process aims to provide all applicants with a preview of what goes on in the Bard classroom. The application is open from February 2nd through March 13th.

Applicant Profile

When reviewing applicants for Bard Early College New Orleans, we generally look for:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.7 and above
• Less than 12 absences per year from high school
• Strong, independent writing for personal statement and reading response
• Active participation during academic auditions
