Sarah Mellman (she/her) is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she researches communal responses to crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Ida. When she isn’t hitting the books, you can find her dancing to live Latin music in her house or in the streets.
