At Bard Early College New Orleans (BECNO), students can earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree by the time they complete their high school diploma. Their college education is tuition-free and transferable. From six area high schools, BECNO serves 105 students and is recognized both for inspiring young people to excel in college and for leading new approaches to college access and equity across Louisiana.
Give NOLA Day is May 6th, 2025, and early giving starts on April 29th. Your gift of any amount helps make a difference at BECNO and ensures that we can continue to support our community and its early college students in the present and for future generations.

The Alumni/ae Virtual Learning Series is an opportunity for alumni/ae to host and participate in weekly workshops and panels to re-engage with BHSEC and build community with one another. The fall virtual learning series is set for roll-out in March 2021. If you are interested in hosting a workshop or panel that pertains to your career or interest, contact [email protected].
Bard Early College class reunions are a great way for alumni/ae to reconnect with one another and faculty and staff from your time at BHSEC. If you are interested in helping plan your class’s reunion, contact [email protected].
The BEC Alumni/ae Leadership Group consists of alumni/ae from across the network who lead the charge in planning initiatives for the alumni/ae community to reconnect with the Early College Network and one another via social events, networking opportunities, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
